This absolute haven for fun seekers has access to the Brecon Beacons for walking and cycling and for the little more adventurous rock climbing abseiling and canoeing. For a more peaceful day visit one of the towns or villages of the national park Brecon Hay-on-Wye famed for its weekly market and May festival Crickhowell a small Georgian town nestled within the Usk valley and Abergavenny a bustling market town with Roman origins considered to be the gateway to Wales. For foodies and festival goers there is a full calendar with something to suit all tastes. Take in the views across the Pen Y Fan before you step inside the porch with hanging space for coats and boots to be left behind. Then step into this charming cottage with lounge/kitchen/diner finished with a clever mix of both old and new a cosy sofa styled with Welsh blankets sits to the side of the wood burner with a contemporary easy chair and footstool thats perfect for reading or catching up with a favourite film on the TV. A traditional farmhouse table and chairs sits to the side of the room leading to a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob fridge with full size under counter freezer washing machine and dishwasher. When its time for bed climb the cottage stairs to the first floor where you will find a double bedroom which enjoys views across the countryside and the second bedroom is a comfortable single with views onto the front of the cottage. There is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Step outside and enjoy the pretty garden with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. There is allocated parking for one car available. Need to know: SLEEPS : There are two bedrooms, one is a double and the other a single. Bedlinen and towels are included. RELAXING : A wood burner is the focal point of the living area and a complimentary basket of logs ensures a cosy and relaxing ambience for all. There is a TV and Wi Fi is included in your stay. COOKING & DINING : The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with full size under counter freezer and a washing machine. KEEPING CLEAN : There is one bathroom with a shower over the bath and a toilet, plus some storage space. OUTSIDE : Outside there is a pretty garden and a charcoal barbeque.
