This cottage is a wonderfully warm generously proportioned detached family farmhouse. Cosy as soon as you walk through the door. Nestled in a tiny hamlet below the Epynt Way on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Sennybridge and Brecon with its Regimental museum and cinema are the closest towns. There are walks from the door stride out directly up and onto the stunning Epynt Way which look back over the dramatic peeks of the Beacons. The area is great for cycling too with bike hire available in Brecon. Things to do in the include pony trekking for all ages at adventure centre Cantref near Brecon with riding trails up into the National Park and The National Showcave Centre for Wales in the heart of the Park complete with dinosaur park and impressive underground caves. Play facilities: selection of toys and table tennis. Swing set in the garden. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin (only suitable for children). Bathroom: with bath shower and WC. Lounge: with woodbruner (first basket of logs included) apple TV for streaming and DVD. Kitchen: with Rayburn electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: enclosed garden with table tennis and BBQ. Amenities: parking for 3 cars. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Free WiFi included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Location: pub within walking distance. Arrival: 4pm Need to know: SLEEPING 2 6 : Three bedrooms, a large double bedroom, a second double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The twin beds are suitable for children, they aren't quite full sized singles. All bed linen included. RELAXING : Large family sitting room. Two comfy sofas, armchair, large wood burning stove, basket of logs included on arrival, central heating throughout.(Please take care when using the winding staircase from the lounge to the first floor, not suitable for children and people with mobility issues) GAMES & GADGETS : Wi Fi, large flat screen Apple TV for streaming programmes via internet (no aerial), DVD Player. Traditional games and dvd's available. Record player with lots of LPs and a guitar. COOKING & DINING : Family kitchen with traditional Rayburn, farmhouse dining table and chairs, electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, well equipped and basics included, such as tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt, pepper etc. KEEPING CLEAN : Upstairs family bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and loo. Towels and soaps are provided. Washing machine provided. OUTSIDE : Large family garden, with pretty front garden, table and chairs, large back garden with table tennis table, childrens toys. barbeque and chiminea available.
