Located in the hamlet of Pantygelli almost opposite a popular local gastro pub this delightful property has all the ingredients for an enjoyable rural break. Walkers on two legs and four will be in their element here with numerous trails to follow from the front door. There are some fascinating ancient monuments and castles to explore nearby including Llanthony Abbey and Priory (8 miles) Grosmont Castle (9 miles) and the spectacular Raglan Castle (14 miles). Head into the thriving town of Abergavenny (3 miles) and meander around the shops before picking a great place to eat. Upon entering this unusual property you ll arrive in a spacious open-plan living space with original wooden floorboards and wood-panelled walls. Set along one wall is the stylish kitchen with electric cooker and ceramic hob microwave dishwasher and fridge freezer ensuring you have all you need to rustle up everything from breakfast to dinner. The dining table can seat all your guests while the comfortable sofa and chairs offer a welcome spot to rest after a busy day of walking and exploring. The wood burner-effect gas fire adds an extra dash of cosiness to this lovely space ensuring everyone is nice and warm on chillier evenings. The pretty and inviting bedrooms are to be found either side of the main living area. The first is a king-size with an en-suite shower room and the second is a twin which can be made up as a king-size if required. This room also has its own en-suite shower room. Accessed from outside the hall and down a few steps there is a spacious room with a separate WC and washing machine which is perfect for storing coats and boots and drying off muddy dogs. Heading outside through the double doors soak up the impressive views over to the Skirrid and Black Mountains as you take a seat on the long decked veranda. The dogs will love running around the two enclosed paddocks which are situated beside the house and perfect for exercising them. On chillier evenings get the fire pit going and sit back with a glass of bubbly. There is also ample parking for several cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 twin zip and link (which can be made into a king size on request). 2 en suite shower rooms, 1 separate WC in the boot room. Electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Separate boot room with washing machine (this is found down a few steps). Smart TV. Wood burning effect fire. Wi Fi included. Mobile signal variable but 4G available. High chair available. Decked veranda with fire pit and enclosed paddocks for dogs. 2 dogs welcome. Fishing available on discussion with owner. Off road parking for several cars. Pub across the road, nearest shop 3 miles (Abergavenny).
