This property is situated in an idyllic location in the shadow of the mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Sugar Loaf one of the most popular peaks in the area is located just four miles from the cottage and is a great place to enjoy a challenging hike following the National Trusts Sugar Loaf Circuit. There are plenty more gentle walks in the area for those who simply want to take in the breath-taking scenery as well numerous opportunities to have a go at canoeing abseiling and caving. Two miles south of the cottage the town of Abergavenny is a popular destination for visitors to the area and offers a range of independent shops as well as good range of eateries. This comfortable cottage is a great place to stay and enjoy a holiday in the Brecon Beacons. At the heart of the property is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the mountain views or perhaps unwind with a film on the TV/DVD. The dining table here seats up to four guests and the sofa-bed can be converted to accommodate two extra guests. The kitchen area to one end of the room is well-equipped and offers an oven hob microwave fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. The shower room with its corner-shower and WC is located just off the lounge area as is the bedroom: a pleasant king-size room which can be set up as a twin room on request thanks to the zip-and-link beds. There is an external shared laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests to use. Outside there is an enclosed patio garden to the front of the cottage. Garden furniture has been provided to help guests to get maximum enjoyment of this space where they can enjoy alfresco dining whilst taking in the stunning views. Need to know: 1 king size bedroom (can be made up as a twin room on request), plus additional double sofa bed in the lounge. Shower room with shower and WC. TV/DVD. Wi Fi included.
