The shepherd`s hut has a cloakroom area in the corner with a chemical WC, but more facilities can be found on-site with a shared shower and WC block and a shared utility area with a washing machine. The Snowdonia National Park is on your doorstep, begin your activities here and head to Llanberis where the Snowdonia Mountain Railway begins, get the train up to the UK`s highest visitor centre, Hafod Eryri, and experience stunning panoramic views of the area, or for those who enjoy the challenge of walking there are extensive trails and routes up Snowdon and the surrounding area perfect for walkers. Llanberis is also home to Snowdonia Watersports, a company which can offer sessions in paddle-boarding, wild swimming, coasteering and both inland and sea kayaking, adding a further taste of adventure to your holiday. Get your history fix and visit Dolbadarn Castle and the Llanberis Slate Museum in Llanberis, or head over to the coast to Caernarfon to see the Segontium Roman Fort and Caernarfon Castle with its unusual polygonal towers. Llarug is a delightful village in North Wales, resting south of the River Seiont.
