This cosy, but private detached lodge nestles in the grounds of the owners' smallholding. Your privacy is assured but the owners are always happy to offer help and advice on the local area and places of interest. Although convenient to Shaftesbury you are situated in a peaceful spot with panoramic views over open countryside.
Easily accessible it is an ideal base throughout the year for a weekend break or a touring holiday. Dorset has something for everyone, with countless picturesque villages, Shaftesbury and the famous Gold Hill made famous by the Hovis commercials and Gillingham are nearby. The historic cities of Salisbury and Bath are within reach. You will be spoilt for choice for walks as Dorset's beautiful landscape of rolling chalk downland and hidden valleys affords wonderful walking. Longleat Safari Park is nearby along with the Jurassic Coast and much more.
This log cabin offers comfortable accommodation ONE bedroom: double with en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and WC. Curtained porch area with seating that can be used for Z bed if required.
Lounge: with TV / DVD and hi-fi. Kitchen / diner: electric cooker, fridge with freezer section, microwave and top loading washing machine.
Outside: covered seating area with table and chairs with views over the enclosed lawn garden. Shepherds hut.
