This “Grand Designs” style barn conversion is one of a handful of barns which nestles in the gentle rolling hills of the beautiful Longcombe Valley which follows the course of the River Dart to Stoke Gabriel.
Approximately 2 miles from the Medieval market town of Totnes which sits astride the river Dart and offers a wealth of small shops, superb locally sourced food and great places to eat, not to mention river trips and a castle. The smaller town of Dartington, known for the famous glass and as a haunt of artists and writers, is within 3 miles while the busier resort of Torbay with its beaches, zoo and resort attractions sits 5 minutes in the other direction. The vast open spaces of Dartmoor are less than half an hour away making this a perfect location whatever your holiday expectations.
The impressive reverse level accommodation that has stylish, hi-tech and eco features throughout, including efficient ground source heating system, intelligent lighting system as well as the capability to stream films, music or TV straight through to specific rooms. Music can also be piped out to the al fresco seating and dining area. Outside: large patio areas with wicker lounge furniture, BBQ and loungers, water feature and outside lighting makes this a great place to entertain or sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine. Surrounding meadows are planted with wild flowers and has children’s play equipment including a ground level trampoline.
