This lovely detached cottage offers a spacious comfortable home for two perfect for couples wanting to have the convenience of being in the village of Ambleside. Where you will find there is a fantastic selection of independent shops restaurants and pubs to get down into the village there is just a short stroll down the hill and into the village centre. This property is also ideally located within easy reach to the many surrounding fells and lakes all worth a visit and a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. The stable door leads from the little lane directly into the kitchen where there is a settle and plenty of space for walking gear and muddy boots the kitchen has shaker units and slate floor and is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob fridge freezer and washing machine. Next door to the kitchen is the large dining room perfect for those romantic meals together. Stairs lead up to the first floor where you will find the lounge with and open fire set in a traditional slate hearth as a wonderful welcoming focal point there are also two deep leather sofas to relax on and a TV to enjoy a movie after a days walking. This room is dual aspect and has lovely views across the village to the hills beyond. Off the lounge there is a romantic double bedroom with oak furniture and completing the accommodation is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Another stable door leads from the lounge out into a pretty south facing garden offering a patio and lawn area cleverly built into the slope of the hillside. There is off road parking for one small car beside the cottage. A parking permit is provided for larger vehicles for use in a car park which is a 5 minute walk away.
