Situated in a small hamlet in the North York Moors being approx. 8 miles North of Kirkbymoorside there are 600 square miles of stunning heather-coated countryside waiting to be discovered by foot or by car. Within the National Park there are also plenty of picturesque market towns and villages with tearooms cafes pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. Theres a variety of independent shops pubs and restaurants to explore in the popular market towns of Helmsley and Pickering. Local attractions include Duncombe Park Nunnington Hall and Castle Howard. You could also head to Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast slightly further afield. Hutton le Hole approximately 6 miles away boasts gift shops pubs the Ryedale Museum and is ideal for walkers. Visit the Rosedale Valley home of Rosedale Abbey and the renowned glass blowing factory. Step inside the spacious open-plan studio style living space and let the beauty surround you. The huge high ceilings make the accommodation feel spacious and light while the eclectic and elegant soft furnishings accompanied by a few industrial-style touches bring a mixture of warm and cosy with a hint of contemporary to the whole unique space. The kitchen area provides everything you need to rustle up a special meal for a loved one such as electric oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher microwave and washing machine. There is a dining table to enjoy a romantic dinner for two and you can relax and snuggle up on the comfortable sofa and chairs nestled around the warming wood burner and Smart TV. Get a good nights rest in the ornate antique double bed which benefits from the nearby bathroom with bath separate shower and WC. Outside the enclosed garden overlooks the beautiful rolling countryside that surrounds you. There is a patio area with seating perfect to sit and enjoy a chilled drink on a summers evening with good company. There is off-road parking for two cars. Need to know: Ornate wrought iron double bed. 1 bathroom. Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Electric and central heating included. Off road parking for 2 cars. Wi Fi included. 2 dogs welcome maximum medium sized, well behaved, quiet dogs welcomed in this cottage. Pets must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are happy to be caged (cage not provided) and are not likely to bark. We kindly request that they are not allowed in bedrooms or on the furniture. Shop 5 miles and pub 2.5 miles. Smart TV in lounge. Due to rural location the mobile signal is poor . SHORT BREAKS can only commence on a Saturday for 4 nights and a Wednesday for 3 nights.
