Immerse yourselves in a green yet luxurious style of living at this impressive environmentally-friendly home in the Honddu Valley. Situated at Lower Chapel approximately 5 miles from the historic town of Brecon and within a small eco-community the striking property sleeps up to eight guests and could be ideal for a celebration or two families holidaying together. Pack a picnic and head straight out on long walks through your picturesque hilly surroundings. Venture into the Brecon Beacons National Park for more walking as well as mountain biking pony-trekking canoeing and caving. While away a few hours shopping in colourful Brecon browsing in the indoor market and stopping for tea and Welsh cakes in a cafe. Make your way into this stunning glass property via the entrance hall and find yourselves in the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Savour the contemporary style of the space with its cutting-edge design and bright comfortable furniture and furnishings. Light the Scandinavian-style wood burner on chilly days and open the glass doors on to the balcony when the weather is warm. Recline on the sofa to gaze out at the views create tasty meals for your entire party in the chic kitchen (up a step) and serve at the long table which comfortably seats eight guests. Play a board game or watch TV on the L-shaped sofa later in the evening or read a book in the quieter winter garden room which adjoins the main space. There is also a study with a desk a large cupboard for storing outdoor gear and a handy utility room with a WC washing machine and tumble dryer on the ground floor. Follow the stairs up to the first floor where all of the bedrooms are situated. The king-size bedroom has glorious views and an en-suite shower room while the remaining double bedrooms share the family bathroom which has a bath with shower over as well as a WC. Dine out on the splendid decked area as often as the weather permits. Watch the children play out on the lawn in the enclosed garden and light the BBQ on summer evenings.
