Those in search of sea and surf are also well-catered for with Croyde Woolacombe and Saunton all close by; and the traditional coastal villages of Ilfracombe Lynton and Lynmouth are also well worth a visit. Alternatively head into the vibrant market town of Barnstaple which boasts an array of amenities including a swimming pool theatre and cinema traditional pannier market and access to the ever-popular Tarka Trail.
