This attractive cottage is located in the village of Marhamchurch in North Cornwall with its convenient village shop and pub The Bullers Arms both being within walking distance. Just two miles away is the popular seaside resort of Bude known for its family-friendly beaches cafes and its tidal pool which allows safe swimming no matter what the conditions out at sea. There are many other interesting towns and villages along the coast including Tintagel known for its connections to King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The pretty village of St Isaac is also within an easy drive and may be recognisable to visitors thanks to it being the location for the TV series Doc Martin. This cottage makes a lovely place for a holiday in Cornwall especially for those who appreciate period features. The cosy and comfortable lounge with exposed beams is accessed via two steps from the kitchen and has comfortable seating including a pretty window seat. There is a TV DVD and hi-fi here for guests enjoyment as well as a sofa and reclining chairs which offer relaxing comfort. The propertys kitchen has traditional slate flooring but also all the modern conveniences that guests will need including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and washing machine and from here steps lead down into a separate dining room. Steep cottage stairs lead to the first floor where both bedrooms are located. The first is a double and the second a small twin. The bathroom is also on the first floor accessed via two steps down with an electric shower over bath heated towel rail and WC. Additionally there is a ground-floor cloakroom with WC. Outside the property enjoys a well-sized garden with lawns a childrens play area with sandpit swing seesaw and slide as well as a patio seating area with a BBQ and far-reaching sea views. The owner also has an artists studio in the grounds which guests may like to visit. Free parking is available in the village square which is just by the entrance to the cottage.
