Nestling in the heart of the village of Marhamchurch, beside the 14th Century church, this semi-detached cottage retains much of its original charm with slate floor, exposed beams and stonework. Set within the pretty mature gardens which offer superb views across rolling countryside to the sea beyond.
The pretty village with thatched cob cottages is less than two miles from the rugged Cornish coastline with many superb walks, secluded coves, golden sandy beaches and the popular seaside town of Bude, offering a selection of amenities, shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. Many attractions within an easy drive including an array of picturesque fishing villages to explore, two cycle trails, water sports at Tamar Lakes, Crealy Adventure Park and The Milky Way.
This quaint accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: approached by steep cottage stairs and small steps down into all rooms, 1 double and 1 small twin room.
Bathroom: upstairs with electric shower over bath, heated towel rail and WC. Separate cloakroom downstairs.
Lounge: approached from kitchen via two small steps, sofa, two reclining easy chairs and window seat, TV with Freeview, hi-fi, DVD, video plus large video library available. Dining room: steps down into separate dining area with table and chairs. Kitchen: traditional with slate floors, electric cooker, microwave, fridge / freezer and washing machine.
Outside: beautiful mature garden meandering down to patio area, with BBQ, garden furniture and distant sea views. Small children's play garden with sandpit, see-saw, swing and push along toys. Small artist studio to visit belonging to the owner.
