This impressive, large old Victorian farmhouse is placed in an idyllic rural position along the spectacular North Cornish coastline. Situated in one of Cornwall's most popular areas in between the traditional sea side town of Bude and the long golden sandy beach of Widemouth Bay, both just 2.5 miles away. The surrounding area has much to offer, with its many beaches, small fishing villages and wealth of local attractions. The friendly town of Bude offers something for everyone with its boating canal, leisure centre, ten-pin bowling alley, many further good beaches and many pubs, shops and fine restaurants. In the evenings relax in the garden, taking advantage of the wonderful views or why not take a stroll to the local village pub serving good food. Tastefully and beautifully decorated in keeping with the Victorian era and is full of antique furniture and rich, luxurious soft furnishings, providing the grandest of accommodation. Leisure facilities: leading off the conservatory is an enclosed patio with hot tub.
The accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms: most with fabulous views over the garden, out across the countryside and to the dramatic North Cornwall coastline. 1 master double featuring a superb handmade four-poster bed with en-suite shower room and WC, 2 further doubles both with en-suite shower rooms and WC (one of which also has a traditional roll top bath), 1 twin bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom.
Bathroom: with shower over corner bath and WC. Downstairs there is a further spacious shower room with WC. The property is entered via a tiled hallway which leads off to all the reception rooms.
Lounge: cosy room with woodburner, SkyTV, DVD and PlayStation. Dining room: magnificent room with large table, open fire and a further seating area with TV, DVD and Nintendo Wii. Kitchen: large farmhouse kitchen with Aga, electric oven, American-style fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave, dining table and many handy extras. Conservatory: with soft seating, TV, hifi and iPod dock. Utility room: leading off from the kitchen with Belfast sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.
