VIEWS OVER AND A STONE'S THROW FROM THE PICTURESQUE VILLAGE
This stunning house commands prime location on the outskirts and with views of, the picture postcard village of Mevagissey. A short walk down the drive and you are in the heart of this unspoilt Cornish fishing village, that still has strong links to its roots.
Unlike many of the villages to the north of the coast, Mevagissey still retains the charm and character that you would expect, yet offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants serving the catch of the day. For the more energetic visitor there is the coast path that skirts around the whole of this unique county, where you will be sure to find your own cove or sandy beach along the way and discover 'real Cornwall'. Despite enjoying this quiet location, all of Cornwall's must see sites and areas are within easy access, 'The Lost Garden of Heligan', famed for being the birth place of the Eden Project and the Eden Project itself are a short drive away and are both a must-see for any visitor to the area. Should you tear yourself away from the property, Truro is a short drive and offers a cathedral and narrow cobbled streets and a wealth of shops, restaurants and a theatre, showing both local and international talent. With its proximity to road links, even Lands End and the Lizard Peninsula are well worth a visit. Leisure facilities: the hidden gem is an enclosed solar heated outdoor swimming pool, that has shared usage with the owner and open mid May until mid September weather permitting.
The accommodation offers EIGHT bedrooms: all spacious and with TV, Freeview and en-suite shower and WC. 4 of the bedrooms, 3 double rooms and 1 twin bedroom offering uninterrupted sea views over the picture postcard village and a further 4 bedrooms including 3 doubles and 1 twin.
Bathroom: 1 upstairs bathroom and 2 downstairs WCs.
Lounge: as you would expect from a property of this size the shared areas offer ample space to enjoy each other's company yet enough to get peace and quiet should you wish to simply relax and read a book. Offering 2 lounges both with ample comfy seating, TV, DVD, Freeview and both enjoying the stunning views. Dining room: again enjoying the views and offers enough space for everyone to sit together, or for the tables to be separated to have a smaller intimate setting. Kitchen: extremely well-equipped and offers large gas cooker with hobs, extractor fan, separate grill, dishwasher, 2 microwaves, 2 large fridges and chest freezer. Utility room: laundry room with large washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside: garden has to be seen to be believed, offering a patio area with wooden garden furniture, BBQ and large lawn area in front of the property.
Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. 1 pet welcome. Regret no smoking within the property.
Location: beach 2 miles, shops, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance.
