This stylish cottage is ideally located in the middle of Middleton-in-Teesdale next to the river Tees and provides an excellent base to explore the abundance of activities in County Durham and the Northern Pennines - the perfect get away location. For easily accessible day trips there is a trip to High Force waterfall Eggleston Hall and Gardens Raby Castle and further afield to the cities of Durham or Newcastle upon Tyne. If all this sounds too hectic a day relaxing at the property or walking in the most northern part of the Yorkshire Dales is never wasted. Upon entering the beautiful open-plan lounge/diner guests will immediately notice the well-designed touches which feature throughout the cottage. The lounge area provides a comfortable place to relax and catch up with friends and family with sofas arranged around the cosy wood burner and TV/ DVD. This lovely entertaining area also has a dining area with seating for everyone. The stylish kitchen with high glass ceiling floods the room with light and provides opportunities to stargaze on a clear night. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob microwave washing machine and fridge/freezer everything required for holiday dining and to help with the cleaning after a handy dishwasher. The second lounge provides additional reading space with X Box with a selection of games a great space for the group to relax or play games together. There is also a handy ground floor WC. The cottage has three bedrooms one king-size one double and one triple complete with a bunk bed and an additional pull out single bed. Finishing the accommodation is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Opening the kitchen doors to the patio guests can enjoy the sunlit patio with garden furniture an ideal spot for al fresco dining. There is a lockable outbuilding for securely storing your bikes. There is roadside parking outside the property for three cars subject to availability.
