The village offers several interesting shops, local family pubs, restaurants and cafes, as well as beautiful sandy beach. There is also a leisure centre which offers hire for quad bikes, motorbikes, crazy golf and fishing. Annually, there is a Carnival Parade and a firework display on the pier.
