In a tranquil spot for a relaxing rural holiday, ideally situated for exploring North Devon's beautiful, rugged coastline and unspoilt countryside. The cottages are situated on the owner's 200 acre working dairy farm.
The sandy beaches and surfing waves at Westward Ho!, Woolacombe and Saunton are all within easy reach by car. You can hire bicycles and cycle, traffic free, on the disused railway track, the Tarka Trail and stop for a drink or bite to eat at one of the many watering holes on route. The property is 3 miles from the Atlantic Highway giving access to popular attractions including The Big Sheep, The Milky Way and Dartington Crystal. The popular market towns of Bideford and Torrington, with their famous pannier markets, are also close by offering good pubs, shops and restaurants. The villages of Monkleigh, Buckland Brewer and Littleham are a short drive away and all offer good village pubs.

Farm activities: by arrangement guests are welcome to enjoy and play on the farm after a guided tour by the farmer and even help feed the calves and watch the cows being milked.
Amenities: ample off-road parking available. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included, (the farm has installed a solar water heating system). Wifi included although due to the location the wifi can be limited at times. Regret no smoking. 2 pets welcome, 3 by arrangement and must be kept downstairs. Cot, travel cot and highchair available.
Location: beach at Westward Ho! 6 miles, beaches at Peppercombe and Greencliff under 5 miles, shops 4 miles, pub 1 mile, Tarka Trail cycling / walking 1 mile.
An impressive and stylish barn conversion offering THREE bedrooms: 1 large family room with 1 king-size and far-reaching countryside views, 1 single and TV, 1 zip-and-link bed (which can be a super-king-size or a twin on request) and 1 twin room.
Bathroom: with 6' cast iron bath, shower over and WC. Downstairs wet room with WC. Lounge / kitchen / diner: large open-plan area with slate flooring incorporating lounge with comfortable sofas, woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV, DVD, Freeview and hi-fi. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Outside: french doors from the lounge lead onto a small enclosed south west facing terrace area overlooking the countryside, ideal for lazy BBQs after a trip to the coast or a walk on one of the many footpaths nearby. Garden furniture and BBQ provided.
