This wooden lodge has been recently constructed to the highest of standards and offers an idyllic retreat for couples and families alike. It is located in a convenient spot on the edge of a picturesque village and provides an ideal base from which to explore the area.
The village of Moorlinch has an attractive family pub serving food, a short stroll from the property. You will be a short drive from the RSPB Nature Reserve and site of Special Scientific Interest on the Somerset Levels, ideal for keen bird watchers and nature lovers alike. There is much to see and do in this beautiful county: Glastonbury with its Tor and Abbey, Clarks retail village in Street, Cheddar Gorge and the cathedral city of Wells. There are many National Trust properties in the locality or enjoy a walk over the Quantock Hills, all within a one hour drive. A little further out lies the historic city of Bath and Exmoor National Park. There are several sandy and dramatic beaches to the north and south such as Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Burnham-on-Sea.
The accommodation is arranged over the ground floor and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size with en-suite wet room and 1 twin room. Shower room: with WC. Lounge / kitchen / diner: large light and airy open-plan space with woodburner (first basket of logs included, additional can be purchased on-site), TV with Freeview, DVD, wireless docking station and sliding doors to veranda and garden. Kitchen area is modern and well-equipped with electric cooker and hob, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. Utility room: with washing machine and microwave.
