Mount Cottage cottage The Lake District and Cumbria
Mount Cottage is a charming barn conversion set on the owner`s working farm in Tebay, Cumbria. With three bedrooms, the master with an en-suite, this cottage can sleep up to seven people. There`s also a ground floor bathroom and a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside, there is ample off road parking plus a private, enclosed patio garden, a shared children`s play area and walks to be enjoyed across the farm. There`s also fishing available on the River Lune nearby. Mount Cottage is surrounded by spectacular scenery and offers a fantastic touring base for discovering both the Dales and the Lake District.
The charming old village of Tebay sits near the eastern fringe of the Lake District National Park. The village itself winds its way along the edge of the main thoroughfare and the traditionally whitewashed Cross Keys Inn has been there for 500 years or more. Along with its better-known neighbours of Kendal, Sedbergh and Appleby-in-Westmorland, the area is surrounded by lovely rolling countryside and beautiful scenery.
