Mountain View cottage Scotland
Mountain View is a detached cottage in the small hamlet of Oldshore Beg near Kinlochbervie in the Highlands. The cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms which include a double with an en-suite shower room, a second double and a family room. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a dining area, a utility and a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is ample off road parking and a decked terrace with furniture. Mountain View is a special holiday destination and a lovely home from home to be enjoyed by all.
Situated in the far north west of Scotland, Kinlochbervie is the most northerly of all the fishing ports and boasts a large fish handling depot from where catches are dispatched throughout Europe. Because of this the roads in the surrounding area are first class! The area has a stunning rocky coastline which attracts many visitors throughout the year. The village itself has a well-stocked shop, a post office and hotels and restaurant that are open all year round. From here it is easy to access both Oldshoremore Beach and the more famous Sandwood Bay Beach which some claim is the most beautiful beach in Britain!
