Situated in the small, peaceful village of Muchelney on the banks of the River Parret and home to the National Trust properties of Muchelney Abbey and the nearby Priest's House. Recently renovated to a high standard with modern appliances, but retains many character features such as exposed beams and inglenook fireplace.
Close to local attractions suited to many interests and tastes and its central location in South Somerset makes it an ideal base for touring across the South West from Stonehenge to Plymouth Hoe and beyond. The immediate area is ideal for countryside and wildlife lovers, walkers and cyclists. A little further afield are the Blackdown Hills, the Quantocks and Exmoor, each offering stunning moorland walks and many character-filled villages. Nearby are the historic attractions of Regency Bath and its Abbey, Wells and its Cathedral and Glastonbury with its mystical Tor, whilst for those seeking some additional retail therapy, there is Clarks Village shopping outlet in Street. In the evenings there is a wide selection of local pubs and restaurants renowned for their good food, or you can relax in the cottage conservatory, on the south-facing patio, or in the garden by the summer house and enjoy uninterrupted views over the Somerset Levels in the evening sunshine

Kitchen: well-equipped, fitted with an electric oven, combination microwave with convection oven and grill, induction hob, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Conservatory offers comfortable seating with views over the garden and beyond to the Blackdown Hills.
Outside: large enclosed garden, small orchard and summer house, an ideal space to relax and enjoy the countryside views.
