Set in the quiet village of Myddfai at the north-west edge of the Brecon Beacons this striking property makes a superb base for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Steeped in history Myddfai boasts an excellent visitor centre where you will find a cafe local produce and gifts for sale a book swap service a monthly farmers market and occasional events talks and activities. Usk Reservoir lies within 4 miles of the door with a number of cross-country walks leading you there from the village while the red kite feeding centre at Llanddeusant 5 miles to the south makes a great excursion for wildlife lovers. Stepping directly in from the street you are greeted by the period propertys characterful interior. The spacious and comfortable sitting room offers plenty of seating so you can cosy up on in front of the wood burner and enjoy a movie. Alternatively you can head to the dining room to share a meal from the well-equipped kitchen which has everything you need to cook up a feast. Climbing a fairly steep set of stairs you will discover the propertys three bedrooms comprising one king-size room a twin room (which can be made up as a super-king on request) and a bunk room that is perfect for younger guests.
