Nestled in a peaceful valley setting with delightful views over unspoilt countryside and a one and a half mile private stretch of the River Camel. Home to otters, ducks, kingfishers and buzzards with some of the best sea trout and salmon fishing in Cornwall. Enjoy the beauty of the private nature trail on their 40 acre estate and see the animals, birds and many unusual flowers. Bring your bicycles or hire them locally and roam along the adjacent famous Camel Trail (Wadebridge 4 miles and Padstow 9 miles) or explore the nearby adjoining forestry trails. Opposite is a well known vineyard which hosts weekly tours and wine tasting sessions. The cottages are an ideal base for touring the whole of Cornwall with a host of nearby sandy beaches such as Polzeath, Harlyn, and Trevone or follow the Coastal Path and visit beautiful small villages like Tintagel, Port Isaac and Boscastle. Other nearby attractions includes the Eden Project (9 miles), Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway (2 miles). There are also several stately homes nearby including Pencarrow House and Lanhydrock (The National Trust), or explore stunning Bodmin Moor with its rugged beauty, a walkers paradise.
Fishing: for small coarse fish in the 2 small, private woodland ponds is free of charge. River fishing must be booked in advance direct with the owner.
Outside: garden furniture and BBQ.
Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen included. Well-behaved dogs welcome, however please note that dogs must be kept on leads within the shared grounds and they must not go in the river.
Additional info: guests are not permitted to play in the river as this may cause disturbance to the fish.

A delightful spacious recently refurbished, south wing of the main house offers THREE bedrooms: upstairs, master bedroom boasting lovely window seating area with beautiful views down to the river, large en-suite with shower over bath and WC. Twin bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. This bedroom has far reaching views across the orchard garden and valley. Downstairs third twin bedroom.

Lounge: open archway leads into the large room with woodburner, TV, Freeview and DVD. Kitchen / diner: has built-in cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge / freezer. Utility room: laundry with washing machine.
Outside: enclosed garden and child's swing.
Amenities: electric included, 2 night storage heaters (in the hall and kitchen) and logs included. Oil fired central heating, if required, is available by meter reading at cost payable to the owner.
