MAGNIFICENT HARBOUR VIEWS
This quirky apartment is set along the roadside overlooking Newlyn's traditional working harbour and within walking distance to the town.
Newlyn is home to the largest fleet of fishing boats in the UK. Clustered around the harbour, with its original quay, is an array of fishing vessels from beamers and trawlers, to long lines and crabbers. Newlyn offers something for everyone with its gallery, the old pilchard works museum, a selection of character filled pubs and several fine restaurants, along with a selection of small shops. On the west of Mounts Bay, Newlyn is central to some of the major attractions; Lands End is 8 miles to the west, St Ives is 10 miles to the north and slightly further you will find Truro, Falmouth and the Lizard Peninsula.
This compact open-plan, first floor apartment is entered on the ground floor with space for coats and shoes, up a flight of stairs you enter into studio living area. Lounge / kitchen / dining / sleeping area: has a large bay window with panoramic views over the harbour to Penzance's Promenade and across Mounts Bay to the sandy beaches of Marazion and St Michael's Mount. Offering a large futon sofa bed, wall-mounted flatscreen TV, Freeview, DVD and dining table. Kitchen area with a two plate electric induction hob, microwave / convection oven and fridge with ice compartment. Shower room: small with WC, access to the WC is through the raised shower basin, making full use of this modest space, (please refer to photo).
Amenities: parking available in public car park nearby. Bed linen, towels, electric and night storage heating included. Regret no pets and no smoking. There is no cot provided in the property, however you are welcome to bring your own travel cot or moses basket for babes in arms.
Location: pub, shop, beach and the well-known Smugglers Restaurant all within walking distance. Arrival: 3pm.
