This detached barn nestles in a peaceful countryside position and is furnished and equipped to a high standard, situated on a working farm. Set on the border of Exmoor National Park you will be spoilt for choice with magnificent pathways, picturesque villages and character moorland pubs.
The North Devon coast boasts some of the best beaches in the country with Croyde, Saunton, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! all within a 45 minutes drive. It is a perfect retreat for those seeking a countryside getaway, yet is conveniently located for the many amenities and attractions North Devon has to offer. Leisure facilities: hot tub for 4 on decking. Stabling: for your own horse(s) including grazing. Livery yard. Lessons for you and your own horse, with the owner, who is a qualified BHSAI instructor, can be arranged at a reasonable charge prior to your stay to avoid disappointment.
Farm activities: guests are welcome to roam the land and watch seasonal activities including lambing, calf feeding and harvesting.
The whole of the ground floor is on one level, carefully designed to allow people who are partially disabled to enjoy the property and offers THREE bedrooms: all with tea and coffee making facilities and TV. Upstairs 1 double and 1 twin. Downstairs second double with disabled access en-suite shower / wet room with WC, raised seat on WC, hand rails for WC and shower, shower seat available if needed.
Bathroom: with spa bath, separate shower and WC. Lounge / kitchen / diner: open-plan design easy social holiday living with TV, Freeview and DVD. Kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer / dryer located in the entrance hall and has been designed for all, with space underneath the hob and sink for wheelchair users.
Outside: covered decked veranda perfect for those who like to relax in the shade, with a hot tub to seat 4, a built-in BBQ with hood, table and chairs. Private lawn area.
