Throughout the year this bustling village welcomes visitors to enjoy the attractions both on land and at sea. A boat trip to the Farne Islands will introduce you to the local seal population and amazing birdlife including puffins in certain months and occasionally a pod of dolphins. Coastal paths take you to Bamburghs iconic castle and glorious beach and Beadnell Bay for water sports like kitesurfing. You could also enjoy a stroll towards Embleton Beach and Dunstanburgh Castle or a picnic in the dunes. Cross the causeway to visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne or head further north to Berwick-on-Tweed. Entering this lovely property through an arched doorway you will come into a vestibule with a lovely chair and a useful bench where you can leave your coats and take off your shoes.
