Oak Beck cottage The Lake District and Cumbria

Oak Beck is a charming terraced property nestled in the town of Windermere in the Lake District National Park. It boasts three bedrooms; a double, a super king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request 7 days before arrival) and a single, sleeping five people. There is also a bathroom and a ground floor cloakroom. The remainder of the accommodation consists of an open-plan living/dining room, a split-level kitchen and a utility room in the cellar. Outside there is a small garden area to the front, an enclosed yard to the rear and a further unenclosed patio area reached by a shared access route, as well as roadside parking. Oak Beck is a lovely property for a family or group of friends wanting to explore the Lakeland towns of Bowness and Windermere.

Bowness and Windermere are set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District National Park, providing a range of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including walks, mountain biking and the `Go Ape` adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. The villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.
