LOCATED WITHIN 342 ACRES ON A SHEEP AND CATTLE FARM
Situated on the outskirts of Dartmoor National Park, this delightful annexe is set within the grounds of the family farm. You will be perfectly positioned for touring both Devon and Cornwall with easy access to the A30 4 miles away.
There are a choice of sandy beaches to the north with Bude's sandy beaches (40 minutes), as well as attractions that include Meldon Reservoir for walks and fishing, Roadford Lake with fishing and watersports, National Trust properties, The Eden Project (60 minute drive) and many more. Okehampton is nearby with quirky arts and craft shops. Tavistock, an ancient stannary town, is easily accessible as is Plymouth and Exeter offering many attractions such as theatres, restaurants and shopping centres. Golf and riding can be found locally and there are two pubs within a 4 mile drive.
Farm activities: guests are welcome (with the permission of the owners) to visit the working farm and meet the resident animals including pedigree South Devon cattle and the rare Whiteface Dartmoor sheep that inhabit the farm. Lambing and calving takes place from February through to May, so there is always a new arrival to meet.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with TV, DVD and 1 twin.
Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge / kitchen / diner: open-plan with open fire (logs included), TV, DVD and hi-fi. Kitchen area offers electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer / dryer.
Outside: garden, seating area with BBQ, trampoline and childrens sand-pit.
Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking or pets.
Additional info: cream tea on arrival. Storage for bicycles available onsite.
