Located in the rolling countryside near Helmsley, surrounded by farmland and a fantastic base for great days out in Yorkshire. The market town of Helmsley offers an array of boutique shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Ideally situated for a day in York, yet within an hour of the coastal towns of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey. The surrounding area offers a wealth of attractions including market towns at Kirkbymoorside and Malton, stately homes of Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall, abbey ruins at Rievaulx and family fun at Flamingo Land. The dramatic scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors can be enjoyed aboard the famous steam train which runs from Pickering (13 miles) to the ancient fishing port of Whitby.

The accommodation is a beautifully restored barn offering ONE large bedroom with twin zip-and-link (made up to a king-size upon request) and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Lounge / kitchen / diner: open-plan with TV, DVD, video and small sofa bed (made up upon request if required). Kitchen area well-equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washer / dryer and microwave.
Outside: opens onto raised patio in courtyard for dining space with BBQ.
Additional info: a further bedroom can be made available on request which is accessed through the cottage and is part of the farmhouse.
