This detached, single-storey barn conversion is located on the owner`s organic farm, on the edge of Upper Seagry. Set in the lush countryside of North Wiltshire and only six miles from the ancient town of Malmesbury, this property boasts character features such as high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and staddle stones set into the wall. This rural location provides a great base from which to explore this fascinating area and visitors can enjoy ample footpaths and bridleways, or alternatively, take a trip to Malmesbury boasting a 12th Century Benedictine Abbey. The Cotswold Water Park offers a great day out, whilst Westobirt Arboretum - with its extensive collection of trees and shrubs - is not to be missed. The picturesque village of Castle Combe is within easy driving distance and is well known for its car racing track whilst the quaint National Trust village of Lacock is also close by and was used as the setting for the BBC TV serial, `Cranford`. The impressive Roman city of Bath, Bowood House, and the ancient stone circle at Avebury are all within an hour`s drive and are well worth visiting.
