This detached barn conversion has been lovingly fitted and furnished by its artistic owners who have gone to great lengths to retain original features and build in a sustainable way. Their flair for hospitality and creativity ensures a unique and relaxing holiday experience.
There is much to see and do in the area with a choice of attractions to suit all tastes. Visit Wells, our smallest city and walk through the cobbled streets to the gothic Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, or further afield to Bath with its roman baths and spa. Other days out include exploring the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, the Tor and Chalice Well or take a little retail therapy at the outlet shopping centre in nearby Street. There are also several National Trust properties in the area, whilst Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole provide great options for more energetic explorers. In the evenings, simply relax in the pretty garden with a glass of wine.
The accommodation is arranged over one level and offers ONE bedroom: king-size double with en-suite shower room with WC. Open-plan lounge / kitchen / diner: lovely spacious room with TV / DVD and access to enclosed garden area. Kitchen area: with gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and feature Belfast sink. Regret no washing machine.
Outside: private small enclosed garden with lawn and patio area with garden furniture and BBQ, to the rear of the property.
Amenities: private off-road parking for 1 car. Bed linen, electric, central heating (underfloor in the lounge / kitchen / diner) and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking inside the property. Regret no pets.
Additional info: drop-off meals, catered dining, picnic hampers, vegetable boxes and bikes can all be ordered / hired directly from the owners.
