Enjoy exploring quaint alleyways and yards and browse the quirky shops or walk alongside the River Nidd which runs behind the cottage. Visit the natural spectacle of the National Trusts Brimham Rocks with its giant rock formations while Fountains Abbey showcases the ruins of the medieval abbey surrounded by 18th century landscaped gardens. Visit the nearby cathedral city of Ripon where you can visit Ripon Spa Baths and the adjacent spa gardens. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park with over 680 miles square miles of rolling countryside scenic dales and charming villages to be discovered while the spa town of Harrogate is around a 30-minute drive away.
