Located on a family-run working farm in stunning countryside in that beautiful part of Northumberland which is close to the Scottish border. You have magnificent views all-around of the Cheviot hills and the National Park and you will be spoilt for choice for days out. The market towns of Wooler and Kelso are just a short drive both offering a range of restaurants pubs and shops. There are golf courses gliding and even horse racing at Kelso and you can enjoy the many walks and cycleways in and around the Cheviot Hills. A little further afield are Holy Island Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle and Gardens and you can reach Edinburgh by car in about an hour and a half (54 miles). Back at home you will be able to see the farmers cattle and horses coming and going and visit the lambing sheds in early spring with the owner. Access to this lovely property is at the main door into a spacious boot room and then on into the hallway with a tub chair. Off the hallway there is a pretty twin bedroom. The contemporary shower room is opposite and has a large walk-in shower and WC. Another door from the hallway leads into the well-proportioned welcoming lounge where you can relax back for a cosy night in together watching TV and enjoy a nightcap in front of the open fire. A door leads into a small hallway with access to the kitchen and a door leading into the garden. The bright and airy kitchen has been tastefully finished and overlooks the stunning garden. You will have everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge freezer Nespresso coffee machine dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a dining table with six chairs and a smaller table and two easy chairs by the sash window where you can enjoy morning coffee or sit with a glass of wine whilst someone is cooking. Stairs lead off from the lounge to the first floor here you will find the bedrooms which are in the spacious eaves of the house and each with lovely views over the garden. The master bedroom has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) and has an ensuite shower room with shower cubicle and WC. The third bedroom has a king-size bed with an en-suite large bathroom with bath shower attachment and WC. There is plenty of space in here and even a sofa to relax on and read while you run your bubble bath. Outside the delightful enclosed garden will be the perfect place to relax unwind and have fun. It is set to lawn and bordered with attractive plants and trees and there is a beautiful stone patio area with garden furniture where you can dine al fresco on warm days or sit with your morning tea while planning your day. There chairs to relax on and a summer house to retreat to when it is cooler to extend your days outdoors. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars next to the property and space for a third in front of the cottage. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 super king size zip and link (which can be made into a twin on request), 1 king size and 1 twin. 1 shower room with shower and WC, 1 en suite shower room with shower and WC and 1 en suite bathroom with bath, shower attachment and WC.
