Within 8 miles of the city of Bangor and the Royal Town of Caernarfon with its narrow streets and waterfront development there are plenty of shops restaurants a cinema theatre and galleries. Why not visit the 13th-century castle take a trip on a steam train with the Welsh Highland Railway or cruise on the Menai Straits? Visit the Sea Zoo National Trusts Penrhyn Castle and Bodnant Gardens Electric Mountain Surf Snowdonia and Zip World all within 22 miles. Take the 20-mile trip to climb Snowdons summit or stroll along local sandy beaches.
