Plas Madoc Lodge cottage Wales
Plas Madoc Lodge is a romantic little stone holiday cottage, just along the road from the picturesque town of Llanrwst, and a few miles from Betws y Coed. Perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Conwy Valley which runs north from Betws y Coed to join the sea at Conwy.
"This little much-loved lodge lets all year round - small and cosy in a good location with lots of things to explore nearby."
Visitors are welcome to walk along the drive through the splendid park, and enjoy its peace and tranquillity. A short walk up the road is an excellent farm shop selling local meat, vegetables and dairy products.
Very interesting area, very differernt to its neighbour Snodonia. The river Conwy flows through as does the main railway line through from Llandudno to Blaenau Ffestiniog, used originally to carry slate. Visit the castle at Conway and the smallest house in Wales or pop along to Betws y Coed or Llanrwst, or join the North Wales Coastal path and head off towards Llanfairfechan. Plenty of nice eating places to choose from whereever you decide to visit.
