Enjoy the natural beauty of Polruan set to the backdrop of the Fowey river and town. Hop on the passenger ferry to Fowey and take advantage of the independent shops and restaurants on offer or enjoy a circular walk to Bodinnick when visiting Daphne Du Mauriers home. Alternatively go further afield to explore the small villages that hug this south Cornish coastline from Kingsands and Cawsands on the Rame peninsular to the beauty of Charlestowns Georgian harbour made famous by the TV series Poldark. Attractions nearby include Lanhydrock House the Eden Project Anthony House and Mount Edgcumbe estate. Enter the property via the front door and into an alleyway that has been converted and secured with the accommodation leading off of it. Through the first door and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you will find a kitchen with an electric hob microwave oven and fridge/freezer. The dining area has seating for four people a lovely spot to enjoy a meal or two and the lounge area has comfy seating with a TV and views of the river Fowey from the window. The good size king-size bedroom is off the living area and also features sea views. The shower room can also be accessed via the living area and boasts a shower and WC. Moving out into the enclosed alleyway you will find the second bedroom leading off which has its own secured door with twin beds and en-suite shower and WC. Outside the front of the property is a patio terraced seating area with river views and garden furniture. Parking is available at nearby public car parks (local charges apply). Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements. . There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village. .
