This property is the ideal base for families to explore the Cornish coast located just a short walk from the beach shop and pub in Polruan. Take a trip over the river to Fowey on the passenger ferry and explore the shops and restaurants or take the small ferry to the village of Mevagissey. For the walkers there are plenty of coastal paths to choose from and for the beach lovers take your pick of the many close by beaches along the Cornish coast. For a fun day out there are a range of attractions worth a visit including The Lost Gardens of Heligan the Eden Project Charlestown one of the filming locations in the TV series Poldark and Hangloose Adventures. Stepping inside the property to the open-plan lounge/diner you will find the dining table with seating for four and the bright and airy lounge area with comfortable seating and TV/DVD. The perfect space to relax after a day of exploring and watch your favourite movie. From here take a step up into the stylish well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher fridge with ice compartment and washer dryer Ideal for preparing a family meal or lazy breakfast. When you re ready for a good nights sleep take the stairs up to the first floor from the lounge/diner to find the two bedrooms. The first is a single bedroom with pull out bed (that can be made up as a twin on request) and the second is a double bedroom with river views. Completing this stylish accommodation is the contemporary shower room with shower and WC. Heading outside up a couple of steps and out the kitchen door you will find the raised garden with views of the harbour the perfect spot for some al fresco dining. The garden is accessed by a narrow path and slate steps. Parking is available in nearby car parks. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 single with additional pull out bed. 1 shower room. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
