A lovingly refurbished property set on the edge of the Afan Forest Park and within the heart of the waterfall country. The property has successfully been awarded the We re Good to Go industry standard official UK mark for following the Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines. Ty Hiraeth has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. with an array of walks and cycle routes within easy reach for all guests and four legged friends to enjoy. This is a great spot to enjoy the best of the Afan Valley with picturesque mountains and forest surrounding the area. Excellent for cyclists walkers and wildlife lovers. Enjoy scenic walks across the famous viaduct and the start of the Richard Burton Trail or visit the seaside at Aberavon beach just a 6 mile drive away. This property is also well placed for attractions such as Margam Country Park with acres of countryside and a castle deer park and visitors centre. It has the added benefit of being within easy reach of the Gower Peninsula and Mumbles both a short drive from the property. The property was highly commended in the best self-catering category in the local Welsh tourism awards. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). Enter the entrance hallway and into the spacious lounge/diner the real heart of the home. With a dining area to the left to enjoy a home cooked meal together and the lounge area to the right. There is a wood burner cosy sofas and lots of attention to detail making this the perfect spot to curl up relax and watch the TV with Sky standard package or read a book after a busy day exploring. Off this room is the spacious kitchen this light and airy room is the perfect spot to cook up a meal equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The final room to complete the ground floor is a sun room with large writing desk with ample space to store walking boots and coats. Heading upstairs to the first floor from the lounge you will find the bathroom to the right a spacious room with bath separate shower for you to relax after an active day exploring and WC. Continue along the landing and you will find the first of the bedrooms a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request). As you reach the end of the landing you will enter the double bedroom with ample wardrobe space with thoughtful touches throughout the perfect space for a good nights rest. Outside to the rear there is a sweet enclosed courtyard with garden furniture perfect for al fresco dining. There is also a very handy lockable store-room handy to store bikes surfboards and canoes and roadside parking to the front of the property subject to availability.
