This beautifully renovated Georgian family home still maintains many impressive original features, but has been brought up-to-date with a chic interior, complimented by a vibrant colour scheme.
Situated a 5 minute drive from the beach and town, this spacious house features a large fully equipped farmhouse kitchen ideal for those preferring to spend time cooking and eating in. The owners live in a separate part of the house where a warm welcome awaits you, however privacy is assured. Surrounded by 21 acres of private grounds. Once a working farm the animals to be found nowadays are the resident family pets, donkeys and ponies which are always popular with the children. Enjoy the outstanding views over the rolling countryside from the comfortable garden chairs. This south facing garden with large flat lawn is ideal for ball games and racquet sports alike!
The accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms: all with their own individual character and style, 2 spacious double bedrooms with wonderful views over the countryside and 2 twin bedrooms. 1 further double bedroom is situated on the ground floor with a king-size brass bed, en-suite shower room and WC.
Bathroom: large and luxurious with a lovely deep roll-top bath, handheld shower, separate shower and WC. 1 further shower room with WC. Downstairs WC. Large staircase with beautiful stained glass window that leads to the ground floor.
Lounge: 2 downstairs, one with woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV and DVD in each and extra sockets to bring your own PlayStations etc. For rainy days or quiet days choose one of the many DVD's, books or board games available for your enjoyment. Kitchen / diner: country style and fully equipped with character Aga (regret this is non-functional) electric range cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and a large dining table perfect for gathering around for a family feast.
Outside: south facing private front garden with a second large flat lawn area.
Amenities: ample parking is provided behind the house. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Central heating included from October - May inclusive. June - September will incur a nominal heating charge paid direct to the owner. Wi-fi available (due to the thick walls in the property the connection can be patchy at times in certain rooms). Regret no smoking in the house or front porch and regret no pets.
