This delightful farm property has been lovingly fitted and furnished to a high standard and offers a relaxing and comfortable base from which to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Situated in a small rural hamlet, it offers lovely countryside views with Dartmoor on the horizon.
A selection of pretty fishing villages and sandy beaches can be found close-by on the north coast, including the excellent surfing beach of Widemouth and several small sandy coves around the seaside town of Bude. The latter also boasts a good selection of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. The nearby market town of Holsworthy offers a golf club, swimming pool, restaurants, shops and pubs. Other attractions include horse riding, walking, watersports and fishing at Tamar Lakes and family days out at The Milky Way, The Big Sheep and The Eden Project. Alternatively, relax in the courtyard or stroll around the lake and see the animals.
Farm activities: children welcome to watch the animals pigs and chickens being fed.
The accommodation is attached to the main farmhouse and offers THREE bedrooms: 1 master super king-size, 1 double and 1 bunk bedroom, all arranged on the first floor. Shower room: with WC. Lounge / diner: with large flatscreen TV / DVD, Nintendo Wii, and open fireplace (first basket of logs included). Kitchen: modern with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washer / dryer.
Outside: use of large communal garden space including gravelled courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ.
Amenities: private off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no pets or smoking inside the property.
Additional info: the owner is able to offer extra accommodation in the main farmhouse, please call to enquire. They are also able to provide home-reared food hampers, cooked breakfasts and evening meals by arrangement direct with the owner.
