Rigside House cottage Heart of England
Rigside House is a spacious holiday cottage based in Little Compton, Gloucestershire. The property is surrounded by an acre size plot on the edge of the village, surrounded by fields and paddocks. Downstairs has a living room, fitted kitchen with a dining area. There are two ground floor twin bedrooms with one en suite shower room and WC, one single bedroom, one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms with one en suite shower room and WC, and one triple bedroom with bunk beds. It also has one ground floor family room with four single beds. There are two separate bathrooms and WC. Outside has garden amid an acre of land, with furniture and a barbecue provided, as well as a selection of outdoor games for children, including a giant trampoline and Jenga. There is ample off road parking available. Rigside House is an excellent cottage for those family breaks.
Little Compton, Gloucestershire is a short drive away from the Saxon market town of Moreton-in-Marsh which lies on the Fosse Way Roman Road in the northern Cotswolds and has many elegant 18th century buildings. It is home to the traditional inns, serving real ales and home-cooked food, tea rooms, restaurants and individual shops to suit all tastes. The town hosts the Moreton-In-Marsh Show, one of the UK`s largest one-day agricultural shows, as well as the Moreton Beer Festival, an annual French Market, and a large outdoor market every Tuesday. Many walks and cycle rides through the beautiful rolling countryside of the Cotswolds can be enjoyed from the centre of the town. Less than five miles away is Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds. This ancient market town has played host to many fairs since the 12th century and today holds a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs and monthly farmers` market.
