This spacious barn conversion, ideal for families, is situated in the quiet rural parish of Linkinhorne on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The property is centrally located between the north and south Cornish coastlines making exploring the whole region very accessible.
This area is superb for walkers and steeped in history with folklore, tales of smuggling and the famous Jamaica Inn. Sibleyback Lake offers many water sport activities and Trethorne Leisure Park offers a full range of all-weather activities including 10 pin bowling, ball pools, slides and golf. A little further afield is the wonderful National Trust Cotehele Manor near Calstock, where you can take a river trip along the Tamar. There are many glorious beaches to be found on either coast, from the pretty seaside villages of Looe and Polperro in the south, to the golden sands and surf of Polzeath, Widemouth and Padstow to the north.
The accommodation adjoins the owners’ home where a warm welcome awaits yet privacy is assured and offers FOUR bedrooms: all arranged on the first floor, 1 master king-size with wall-mounted flatscreen TV and en-suite shower room with WC, accessed via 1 large twin bedroom, 1 double and 1 further twin.
Bathroom: with bath and WC. Shower room: on the ground floor, with WC. Lounge / diner: lovely family room with ample seating including 2 seater leather recliner sofa, large Smart TV with DVD, woodburner (first basket of logs included) and French doors to enclosed balcony with seating. Additional snug lounge: at lower ground level, with large wall-mounted flatscreen TV with DVD (guests are welcome to bring games consoles to plug in) and door leading to enclosed patio area. Kitchen / diner: lovely light room with electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and radio / CD. Utility room: useful area, approached by steps down from the snug lounge, with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, additional fridge and large storage space.
Outside: enclosed patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. Adjacent is enclosed 1 acre mown field for ballgames and exercising dogs.
Amenities: private off-road parking for 3 cars. Bed linen, electric and wi-fi included. Towels for hire. Oil central heating at cost between 1st November - 31st March payable direct to owners. Regret no smoking inside the property. 1 well-behaved dog welcome. Regret no short breaks.
