Riverside House cottage Scotland

Riverside House is a detached house based in the town of Blairgowrie in Scotland. It has five double bedrooms, two with en-suites as well as a family bathroom and a cloakroom, it can sleep ten people. Also inside there is a kitchen with dining area with a woodburning stove, a utility, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a snug room. The the outside there is off road parking for four cars as well as a surrounding lawn and a patio with table and chairs. Riverside House is a charming house in a great location.

Situated on the banks of the River Ericht, in the spectacular gorges of Strathmore, is the red stone town of Blairgowrie. An excellent base for exploring Perthshire, this lovely little settlement is packed with shops and restaurants, and offers excellent access to the beautiful Angus Glens. Surrounded by pretty rolling fields, the town is also bordered by rugged hills and mountains, which are home to Scotland`s largest ski centre, Glenshee. With excellent facilities for riding, cycling and walking, the region also caters for golfers, with several renowned courses and those of nearby St. Andrews. The area also plays host to the world`s largest hedge at Meikleour which stands at six hundred metres long and thirty metres high.
