Robbies Barn cottage Heart of England
Fulready, Warwickshire is a short drive from the thriving village of Ettington. It has a lovely village pub serving wonderful home-cooked food as well as a village shop/Post Office, well stocked with local fresh produce. The village is recognised as both a Saxon and Roman settlement; the Fosse Way Roman road is close by, and many buildings date back to the 17th century. Ettington is just 6.5 miles south of the market town Stratford-upon-Avon, which dates back to medieval times, and is the home of William Shakespeare. The town boasts many historic buildings including Shakespeare`s birthplace and Anne Hathaway`s cottage, The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, many traditional pubs, excellent restaurants and individual shops, as well as boat hire and cruises along the River Avon.
