There are plenty of countryside walks available nearby and both Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are within a short drive of the property. Not to be missed is a visit to Claife Heights a purpose-built viewing platform which offers unrivalled views over Lake Windermere. Adventurous types will enjoy a trip to Grizedale Forest where there is a Go-Ape centre with high-ropes and a zip wire. Steps down lead you to this ground-floor apartment offering a relaxing place to stay for two people. The owners live just upstairs but your privacy will always be respected. The lounge/diner is the main living area and offers views over the valley comfortable seating a dining table for two electric fire and TV.
