Rose Cottage cottage Peak District
Rose cottage is a delightful detached cottage located in the village of Ashford-in-the-Water on the banks of the River Wye. It is just two miles from Bakewell and a very short walk to the centre which has a choice of pubs and tea rooms, as well as the village shop. The cottage can sleep four people in two double bedrooms. The village of Ashford-in-the-Water is just two miles from Bakewell, at the heart of the Peak District National Park. The nearby town of Bakewell offers a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs, together with frequent local farmers` markets. There are many stately homes to visit, including Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, or explore the Dark Peak and limestone White Peak, all within easy reach.
