Rose Ville is a delightful, detached cottage resting in the peaceful village of Cotherstone in the southwest of County Durham. Boasting three bedrooms; a double, twin and single, this cottage can sleep five people in three bedrooms. The interior is also comprises of a bathroom, kitchen, dining area and sitting room with gas fire. There are fully enclosed gardens to the front and rear, as well as roadside parking for 2 cars. This pretty village of Cotherstone is nestled by the wooded banks of the rivers Tees and Balder, within Teesdale in the south west of County Durham. Resting three miles upstream of Barnard Castle, with several listed buildings, a cluster of stone built houses and three village greens, this delightful location is superb for touring the beautiful North Pennines AONB and the northern region of Yorkshire Dales National Park. The village is sparsely populated by isolated farmsteads, boasts two local pubs and small shop, and a quaint village hall. Take a gentle stroll along the 6-mile Circular Walk from the Fox and Hounds on the West Green and enjoy the pleasant countryside surrounds and picturesque views along the way. Nearby Barnard Castle offers cobble streets, yards and back lanes, a 16th century bridge and castle ruins as well as a plethora of shops and bars. Further walking routes are right on the doorstep from here with the Lake District, the Pennine and Teesdale Ways, all within easy reach.
