The town of Clifden is a short drive away, and is home to a fantastic range of pubs, shops and restaurants, and plays host to a variety of colourful festivals throughout the year. Just 15 minutes` drive from Rosmuc is Rossaveal Harbour, where you can catch a day ferry to the Aran Islands where you can step back in time and see some of the finest examples of Stone built forts in Europe.
