Rottal Farmhouse is a delightful, detached farmhouse on a working farm, on the owner?s estate in the middle of majestic Glen Clova, 12 miles from Kirriemuir and can sleep eight people. There is a king-size double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a ground floor twin bedroom, as well as a bathroom. Owners will need to be advised 21 days before arrival re twin/double layout requests..The farmhouse also has a kitchen with dining area, a dining room with an open fire and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off road parking, lockable bike storage and a lawned garden to the front and side with furniture. Rottal Farmhouse is a wonderful base for your peaceful holiday in Scotland.
Kirriemuir is a lovely red sandstone town in the valley of Strathmore, offering a fine variety of shops, hotels and pubs, surrounded by some of Scotland`s most unspoiled landscape. The birthplace of novelist JM Barrie, whose house is now a museum looked after by the National Trust, and there`s also a statue of Peter Pan in the town centre. Kirriemuir also offers an Aviation Museum, Glamis Castle and the historic Pictish Stones at Meigle.
